Maine Inferno Hockey

The Maine Inferno  Tier 2 & Tier 4 tryouts will be held on March 18th from 6:10pm-8:20pm at Penobscot Ice Arena in Brewer, Maine.

All players must register to be placed on a team for the 2024-25 season. Player evaluations will be conducted by independent personnel to eliminate bias in the team identification process. If it is determined that the Inferno can field a competitive national bound Tier 2 team in an age group, players will be notified and asked to accept their placement on the roster within 48hours.

The registration fee for the identification practice is $25 if registered by end of day (11:59 pm) March 16th, 2024. Registrations after that date and walk-in registrations at both sessions will be accepted with an increased registration fee of $30. If your daughter chooses to play for a Maine Inferno team in the 2024-25 season a $25 credit will be applied to your account towards your season registration fee.

Tryout Schedule 

6:10-7:10pm tryouts for 10u  (born 2014, 2015) & 12U (born 2013 & 2012)

7:20 -8:30pm tryouts for 14U (2010 2011) and 19U (2005-2009)

Each Player must register first with USA Hockey and then return to this Registration Session to signup for Inferno Identification Sessions.

• Step 1:  CLICK HERE to go to USA Hockey Registration and register your player(s). Be sure to PRINT and SAVE their confirmation code(s). Remember to register EACH of your players with USA Hockey. Each player must have their own unique USA Hockey confirmation number.
• Step 2:  Return to this registration and proceed. Later in this registration session you will need to enter the USA Hockey Confirmation Code that you received in Step 1.
